AUSTIN CRIBARI
COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY COMPUTER SCIENCE × IT

HEY, I’M AUSTIN CRIBARI.

A curious mind.
A hands-on
approach.

From figuring out how software works to keeping the systems behind it running. This is where my computer science and IT journeys meet.

Explore my work
LEARNING. BUILDING. FIGURING IT OUT.There's a person behind the code

More than a
list of skills.

I’m Austin, a Colorado State University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. I like finding ways to use what I learned in college and the technical skills I continue to develop to make everyday life easier, more organized, and more interesting.

My personal life is often the starting point for my work. I built my tip tracker because I wanted a clearer picture of the cash and credit card tips I earn across shifts. Turning that need into a Python application helped me bring programming into my own routine and make more intentional decisions about my budget.

I want the things I build to reflect my interests and the people using them. My projects have given me room to explore games, virtual reality, and web design, while the Cribari Custom Rugs website connected technical work with the creative side of presenting a business and its products.

Combining my personal life with my work matters to me. It gives me a reason to keep learning and a practical way to apply new skills. Earning the Google IT Support Professional Certificate added to that foundation, helping me connect my experience building software with a better understanding of the systems behind it.

Bringing everyday life into my work
I see my degree as something I can put to use beyond a job title. Whether I’m tracking my own income, exploring an interest, or creating a website, I want my technical skills to help me do something useful and personal.

Work in the wild.

SCHOOL + PERSONAL

02
WEB / MENU TESTING

BJ’s Menu Testing Website

I built a dynamic interface with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that supported real-time feedback, item randomization, and question tracking. I also improved the mobile experience with responsive layouts and interactions designed to work well on touch devices.

HTML · CSS · JavaScript

03
SIMULATION

Roulette Wheel Simulator

I built a C++ simulation to compare two roulette strategies over 100 spins, tracking win counts and ending balances. My version randomly selected 26 unique numbers each run, while the other strategy covered a fixed set of numbers. Repeated trials let me compare how the two betting approaches performed.

C++ · Simulation · Logic

04
GAME DEVELOPMENT

Infinite Runner Game

I created an infinite runner using premade level chunks for randomized level generation, giving each run a different feel. I also worked on character animation to make movement feel more fluid and responsive.

Unity · C# · Game design

05
PRACTICAL TOOLS

Tip Tracker

I built a Python desktop app to track the cash and credit card tips I earn at work, helping me understand my income and budget more intentionally. It uses Tkinter for the interface, stores entries in JSON, and generates a running summary of total earnings across shifts.

Python · Tkinter · JSON

WEB / CUSTOM RUGS

Cribari Custom Rugs Website

I designed a website for a custom tufting rug business using HTML and CSS to promote the brand and showcase its work. The project gave me a chance to experiment with visual styling, image presentation, and layouts that supported a small business’s identity.
